It’s Storytime at the library, and the Secretary Bird is ready to read some fairy tales to the little ones. But who’s that mischievous character sneaking into familiar tales like “Hansel and Gretel” and “The Princess and the Pea” at the crucial moment, stirring up ridiculous, hilarious new endings? It’s the weasel from the nursery rhyme “Pop Goes the Weasel” — and the Secretary Bird is not amused! How can Snow White bite the poisoned apple when a weasel POPS right out of it? And how can the witch eat Hansel and Gretel when the weasel POPS of out the oven? The fractured fun just keeps multiplying, until the Secretary Bird herself ends up in Fairy Tale land, at a blowout party featuring apples, gingerbread, peas, and one happy, triumphant weasel.

Fairy tale lovers young and old will thrill to this funny, unfettered read-aloud from the creators behind POP! GOES THE NURSERY RHYME.
